Haworthia Planter | Potted Succulent Garden
(Note: The first photos are newer by about two months. Also, the terra cotta planter needs to be scrubbed of the green algae periodically. I didn't do so for the newer photos.)
Water every 7 days and medium light is what I give this succulent planter. The collection contains a mature haworthia cuspidata (clumping), baby gasteria liliputana, mature haworthia retusa geraldii, kalanchoe daigremontiana, wavy jade, dancing bones cactus, crassula conjuncta, senecio kilimanjaro, dorotheanthus bellidiformis 'mezblica' trailing red, and a crassula capitella.
Though I am transitioning to organic methods, I have used a synthetic pesticide in the soil (absorbed by the whole plant) that is said to last a year but is not safe for bees (or people or animals) so please take one of the following precautions IF your plant flowers (this one should not): 1) change the soil, 2) bring the planter indoors before and while the plant blooms, 3) cut the flower buds off if there is a chance that a bee will come in contact with them, 4) keep the planter indoors through the end of May, 2018. Thank you!
