Haworthia Retusa Geraldii Cup | Potted Succulent Garden
I water these succulent plants every 5-7 days in the cooler months and in an indoor growing environment. This collection contains an ice plant with purple flowers (delosperma cooperi nana), two stems of mesembryanthemum lehmanii that will become long and branch out, a haworthia retusa geraldii that will widen and clump fairly soon, and a dorotheanthus bellidiformis 'mesblica' mezoo trailing red.
Though I am transitioning to organic methods, I have used a synthetic pesticide in the soil (absorbed by the whole plant) that is said to last a year but is not safe for bees (or people or animals) so please take one of the following precautions IF your plant flowers (this one just flowered so it is unlikely): 1) change the soil, 2) bring the planter indoors before and while the plant blooms, 3) cut the flower buds off if there is a chance that a bee will come in contact with them, 4) keep the planter indoors through the end of May, 2018. Thank you!
