Trailing Succulent, Sedeveria Super Burro's Tail #1 | Potted Plant
The last photographs are from about four months earlier--they are left here to show the speed of growth if you are not pruning (pruning sets the growth rate back some).
Water every 5-7 days and bright artificial light is what I give this plant. It becomes long and rope like with each rope about an inch and a half to 2 in diameter. And with more age each rope will branch out naturally without pruning.
Though I am transitioning to organic methods, I have used a synthetic pesticide in the soil (absorbed by the whole plant) that is said to last a year but is not safe for bees (or people or animals) so please take one of the following precautions IF your plant flowers (this one just flowered so it is unlikely): 1) change the soil, 2) bring the planter indoors before and while the plant blooms, 3) cut the flower buds off if there is a chance that a bee will come in contact with them, 4) keep the planter indoors through April, 2018. Thank you!
