Succulent Agave 'Shark Skin' (Young Plants)
Agave 'shark skin' is a medium-sized (at maturity) succulent plant with medium green leaves, a serrated spine, and super sharp, hard tip. It likes bright light and can handle some sun even in the hot months. It is slow-growing and would work in some potted gardens (especially before the plant is mature enough to produce offsets from runners; that might be 3-5 years out). I am selling the more mature plants, first. In addition to the two photographed, I now have about two more very young (about 3" diameter) ones available.
If the outer leaves become damaged from underwatering, you can peel them off. If the leaves are very mature, you will need to cut a vertical slice--with blade facing away from the plant--gently near the base so that they come off easily.
