Succulents in Textured White Bowl | Potted Garden
A little water every 7 days is what I do for this planter in my indoor growing environment. The first three photos are newer.
This ceramic bowl without drain hole (great for mess free watering) contains an aloe aristata that is growing rapidly right now, cereus validus forbesii monstrose 'ming thing', crassula conjuncta, rhipsalis baccifera subsp. horrida, aloe brevifolia, dorotheanthus bellidiformis 'mezoo trailing red', and a kalanchoe diagremontiana.
Though I am switching to organic methods, I also have used a synthetic pesticide in the soil (absorbed by the whole plant) that is said to last a year (from the time it was added) but is not safe for bees (or people or animals) so please take one of the following precautions if your plant flowers: 1) change the soil, 2) bring the planter indoors before and while the plant blooms, 3) cut the flower buds off if there is a chance that a bee could come in contact with the pollen, 4) grow your plant indoors for ~9 months (until about August, 2018). Thanks!
