Two Types of Cacti and More in a Ceramic Bowl | Potted Succulent Garden
Weekly water and bright artificial light is what I give these succulent plants. The potted garden (now in a white ceramic bowl) contains an opuntia monocantha monstrose variegata, fairytail cactus, an unknown vine-like succulent, an ice plant with two toned orange and pink flowers, and a dorotheanthus bellidiformis 'mesblica' mezoo trailing red.
Though I am transitioning to organic methods, I have used a synthetic pesticide in the soil (absorbed by the whole plant) that is said to last a year but is not safe for bees (or people or animals) so please take one of the following precautions if your plant flowers: 1) change the soil, 2) bring the planter indoors before and while the plant blooms, 3) cut the flower buds off if there is a chance that a bee will come in contact with them, 4) keep the planter indoors until the end of May, 2018. Thank you!
